Hello, my name is Sherline and I am the owner and provider of Bubbles In Home Daycare, located in Herndon, VA. For me, stepping into the field of child care wasn't just a job—it was a calling. I have over 17+ years of experience working with children and I love the happiness and joy these kids brings to my day. My beliefs about education is very important and I view every day as an opportunity to teach something new, no matter the age of your child. I’m CPR & First-aid certified, ServSafe certified, and MAT trained, so I can administer prescription medication as well as over-the-counter medications to all kids in my care. I also hold a Child Development Associate's Degree. I offer a vibrant, friendly and nurturing personality, which I believe is what has gotten me this far, and with more to come! To be in the child care field, providers must have a natural love for what they do, as well as be outgoing, patient, loving, caring, nurturing, and very active. I believe I have all these qualities and so much more. I also believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially, and creatively. By building on each child's strengths, interests, and curiosities, I guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.

My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, stress-free environment for everyone! About 17 years ago, when I first stepped foot into a child care facility, I knew right then and there that this was going to be my career. During the course of my journey I have learned the difference between babysitting, nannying, and of course teaching professionally. I believe it is a must to understand the difference and what makes each of them unique. I believe that combining all the many different aspects of babysitting, nannying, and being a professional teacher has created a very successful outcome. I have been inspired to start my own child care business since high school. I remember taking Early Childhood Education classes, and falling in love with teaching children to learn and to be kind to each other. I am eager to teach young minds to learn in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where they can grow to be amazing little people.
